1. Place the foil cutter around the top of the wine bottle. Gently squeeze the foil cutter and twist it around the neck of the bottle until the foil is entirely cut.
2. Swing the lever to the fully open position, and place the wine opener over the bottle, while gripping the bottleneck firmly with the handles.
