We love beer and nothing can beat the taste of a fresh crisp beer on tap. We wanted a way to drink beers from our local breweries fresh from a growler while maintaining freshness through multiple pours and drinking sessions.

The Growler Tapping System Coupler
The idea of the growler coupler developed from our desire of creating the experience of a perfect pour with nice head that you would get from a brewery but at the comfort of your own home through a growler. With a normal growler every time it is open you are introducing oxygen to the beer causing it oxidize degrading flavor and aroma making it taste like cardboard. By injecting CO2 and without the need to open the cap during pouring your growler can now stay fresh for up to two weeks. You can now enjoy fresh beer throughout the week instead of having to finish the growler in one sitting.

The design of the growler coupler was made to not only fit our Kakaako Brewing growlers but also the Yeti Rambler and RTIC Growler. This was very important to us because many of us already own these other flasks and it would allow us to convert them to portable mini craft beer tap.

Kegco new hl-62n commercial grade dual gauge nitrogen regulator has been specially designed to deliver maximum convenience and durability while dispensing delicious Stout beer, coffee, and wine in busy commercial environments like bars, coffee shops, tasting rooms, and restaurants. This double gauge draft beer regulator has a Gauge on top that measures pressure in the keg as well as a gauge on the side that indicates how much nitrogen gas is left in the tank, so you’ll never again be caught off guard by an empty cylinder. Both gauges come equipped with rubber boots that help protect them from damage in the event of a fall, and a large pressure adjustment knob allows you to make quick and precise adjustments by hand. For added safety, This regulator also features an internal safety pressure relief valve that releases when the delivery pressure exceeds set pressure by 15 PSIG, a manual pressure release valve built into the regulator body, and a shut-off valve that makes it easy to quickly shut off pressure to the keg without backing up your beer line. This shut-off valve has a check Valve that prevents backflow into the regulator.
